World Fantasy Convention – panel

WFC’s program is online, and I’m pleased to be scheduled on a panel at 10am Friday morning. The topic is “Bring Me That Horizon: The Exploration of Untrod Lands as a Fantasy Theme”, and I’ll be appearing with Grania Davis, Karin Gastreich, Joshua Palmatier and Michael Stackpole.

Here’s the description:

Sometimes the goal is not to bring down an enemy or win a war. Sometimes it is to voyage into the unknown so see what you find, to explore uncharted territories for wealth or country or even for knowledge.

Which I like because it brings my Books of the Change and Cataclysm to mind, and the Broken Land books, too. They were all about journeys into the unknown. I’m looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say on the topic.
