Available here. Hypnotic, dreamy, and eerily numinous in the sonic spaces it explores, Adrift is the first collaboration between theAdelaidean and deepspace, two Australian ambient artists. The album’s atmospheric soundscape charts the surreal encounters of an astronaut lost in the cosmos after becoming separated from their ship with only an hour of life-support. The interstellar traveler is swept through weightless sky rivers, slowly becoming hypoxic, experiencing hallucinations and epiphanies, and finally finding peace. Close your eyes, unhitch your tether, and step into the void.
