My biggest collaboration yet: Escape From Thorngate Hall
I like to collaborate. It’s not half the work, although it is half the money, but I do get a lot of other things out of the deal. Fun, companionship, surprise, challenge – all that good stuff. So when the Adelaide Advertiser approached me to see if I’d be interested in collaborating with several hundred schoolkids all across South Australia, why would I possibly say no?
From the article:
“The Advertiser’s next progressive story, a collaboration between Williams, cartoonist Stephen Stanley and primary school children from all over South Australia … follows the hugely popular Boy With Silver Eyes, written by Ruth Starke with successive chapters contributed by 27 schools and published daily in The Advertiser last February. An e-book release followed.”
It’s going to be huge. Stay tuned for further updates!

Oh, and here’s the article from the print edition of the paper showing some of Stephen’s fabulous art. (I swear I was actually wearing pants.)
