2014 in Words
It’s been a momentous twelve months. 2014 was the year I hit book/age parity and sold my 100th short story. It was the year I seriously messed around with flash fiction, and saw my first academic publication. As well as the bits and bobs below (which contain links to anything shorter than a novel – you know where you like to buy those) there were guest posts and opinion pieces that I haven’t listed here, plus appearances at various festivals and conferences in Australia and the US.
Busy busy.
Sincere thanks to all the people who enjoyed reading and encouraged others to give it a go. Much as I love toiling away in my cave, I want the words to propagate much further than that. It means a lot when people help out by rating or even reviewing, or just by sending encouraging notes.
If you’re interested in what I’ve been reading in turn, here’s my year in books.
All the best for 2015. I hope it’s a ripper!
